Buddy Program
  When you decide to sponsor to a child at the Wings Over Haiti school, your donation ensures your buddy eats two nutritious meals at school daily, gets medical care, and receives a solid education that allows him or her to thrive.

When you become a buddy, we'll send you your buddy's picture and profile. We encourage you to develop a personal relationship by sending letters, pictures and postcards. Volunteers help translate letters and aid the children in writing back!
Here are some simple Haitian Creole phrases you may want to include in your correspondence:

A Typical School Day at Wings Over Haiti
 The children travel to school by 7:30 a.m., eat a hot breakfast; sing; study math, writing, reading; break for physical exercise; eat a hot nutritious lunch; study French and English; and get picked up (often) by older siblings or parents to walk home in the afternoon.
Parents of the Wings Over Haiti school are involved in the welfare of the school and their children’s education. Many contribute to tending the school’s garden, cooking and being a part of weekly parent meetings. The Wings Over Haiti school takes a keen interest in the parents’ welfare as well.
