Dieumaitre is our awe-inspiring jack of all trades. He is currently responsible for construction of our new multi-use building that will house our new larger school, medical clinic and space for adult education. Since Wings Over Haiti's beginning, Dieumaitre has proved himself time and time again as a leader to our community in Haiti. He is eager to take courses in the United States that will enable him to learn more about non-profit management and new construction techniques.
Andre lives on site at the Wings house, and is always ready to help anyone out. He is very protective of our volunteers and staff, and is a great person to bring along when renting different cars that always seem
to break down, have flat tires or burn the clutch. He is interested in learning more about cars and the work that mechanics do, and enjoys helping with the daily activities that go on on the ground.

Son has been working with Wings overHaiti since Shad first came in February 2010 after the earthquake. He helped give out donations of food and water to victims of the earthquake in the months before the Wings Over Haiti School was established.  He went to school for carpentry in Port-au-Prince for two years, and has been making wooden furniture for the community for seven years.  He is our carpenter and has made desks for the preschool class, sewing table, a computer desk, and shelves for the medicine, school supplies and kitchen. His sister is a teacher who works at another school, but she comes and helps out with the kids and is currently teaching them a christmas dance for the holidays.  He would like to continue his education so he can tutor students in mathematics, physics, and chemistry and continue to work with Wings over Haiti as a carpenter but also work with our students as they grow older with math and science. He loves Wings over Haiti, and would like for us to keep growing as an organization and incorporate english classes and possibly an orphanage for children in need in the future.

Adam's administrative skills have streamlined all of our work in Haiti. As we planned to open the school, Adam helped parents complete applications and complete registration forms he had created. He spent months registering Wings Over Haiti as a non-profit in Croix-des-Bouquets. Currently, he is working on our NGO status with the Haitian government, as well as being recognized by the Haitian Ministry of Education. To boot, Adam is an incredibly talented plumber and electrician -- able to make anything work to suit the needs of the school. Adam is eager to travel to the United States in the near future to continue learning about non-profit administration, and further develop his plumbing and electrical skill.
